Rent 2 bedroom apartment in San Marcos

One room available at a privately owned quadplex located adjacent to the historic district. The apartment is walking distance from campus, Tantra/Jo's Cafe, Zelicks, little HEB, and is a mile from the Prospect Park Trailhead. The washer/dryer are located in the shared bathroom. The kitchen features a dishwasher, along with an updated stovetop/oven. Electricity is paid by the tenants while water is covered by the landlord. The landlord is very kind and responds quickly to any problems. The stairs and parts of the railings have been recently replaced/painted, and new windows were installed a year ago. The bedroom carpet will be cleaned prior to move-in. There is a good sized partially shaded porch that is great for lounging and plants. Though located on Hopkins, the noise of the street is rarely a bother (and this is coming from a light sleeper). The neighbors are friendly and quiet and there are a couple kids that live in complex, so a person who is on the quieter side and respectful is preferable. All in all it is a great place to live and many of the tenants stay for multiple years. I also have a two year old border collie who is very sweet and docile. He is not good with cats, but he does well with other dogs, especially those who are his size or smaller. I am a thirty year old female currently working at a wine bar in Gruene. I recently moved back into the State and am using San Marcos as a base while I plan the next steps in my life. While I enjoy socializing, I enjoy using the apartment as a quiet place to unwind and recharge. I am open to living with any age as long as you are respectful of our shared space.
