Abcoude is located in a rural area and very conveniently located in relation to Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Utrecht and Schiphol. The Zuidas, Amsterdam South and Stadshart Amstelveen are a 15-minute drive away. From

NS Station Abcoude runs a train 4 times an hour during rush hour to Amsterdam (12 minutes to Amstel Station), Utrecht and Rotterdam. Various bus lines to Utrecht, Amsterdam and Mijdrecht run regularly, also especially for secondary school students.

Abcoude is characterized by a cozy historic center, nice shops and restaurants with beautiful terraces, including at De Eendracht.
